Because it shares the same technology as VARGET, H50BMG displays a high degree of thermal stability in temperature extremes. I use Hogdon 50BMG in my 6.5mm benchrest rifle for 1,000yd competition. H50BMG has a very slow burn rate allowing me to get a slightly compressed load with very even burning. The extruded granules are large so it is a pain to load, but it performs really well.
