   I purchased Accurate Scot 4100 for a particular reason for reloading M1 Carbine. I am very pleased with the ease of charging with the powder on a progressive press and cartridge activated charge. It measures very much the same from throw to throw. This powder also delivers the necessary velocity for the M1. Using the lowest charge you get right at 1980 FPS which is usually what you find as the max for commercial ammo. By bumping up the charge just a little you are over 2000 FPS which is a sweet spot for the M1. So, I’m quite happy with the powder.

   I use it with bullets from 300-440 grains in a 500 smith and Wesson. Magnum primers help with clean burning
